She moved with her family to Cedar Falls, Iowa and graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1969. On December 29, 1973, she was united in marriage with Myron J. Nagle at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gilbertville. The couple made their home in Evansdale until 1990, when they moved to the Wadena area. Susan was employed as a medical transcriptionist at the Gundersen Clinic in Fayette for several years. A resident of Maple Crest Manor in Fayette since July of 2013, she enjoyed knitting, reading, keeping current on politics, but most of all she enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Mick of Wadena, she is survived by four daughters, Mindra (Donald Richard) Balk of West Union, Holiday (Arturo) Zuniga of Los Angeles, California, Darian (Jeremy) Gamm of Iowa City, and Sabrina (Jared) Kent of Wadena; seven grandchildren, Bradley (Samantha), Gary, and Joanne Balk, Alexandria and Miles Kent, and Anya and Sasha Gamm; her mother, Donna (Gary) Weyland of Wadena; and one sister, Barbara (James) Karn of Pueblo, Colorado.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Roy Green.

My condolences to family and friends of Susie. Susie and I were little buddies when we were in diapers and beyond. Once we found a penny and promptly took off. We crossed Adam's Street headed to Bearnie's grocery to buy some candy. If I remember this correctly, I turned around to see where Susie was. One of the mom's had gotten her already. Needless to say, we both got yelled at and spanked. Somewhere I have a picture of us playing in a tub on the grass in our yard. To Barb. I normally live in Colorado Springs. I'm in Iowa looking after my mom. Once I get back I'll try to locate you (although it could be a long while). My # is 719-313-0242. My prayers to the family. Bless you all.
